Stage 1:
Consists of a natural copper / zinc mineral media called KDF-55, which removes chlorine, filters out heavy metals, kills microorganisms and enhances pH balance. Water passes through granulated KDF media creating an electro-chemical reaction that transforms harmful contaminants into harmless particles giving you chlorine free water. KDF also inhibits the growth of bacteria, mold and fungus.

Stage 2:
The second filtration stage uses a carbonized coconut shell medium in order to remove synthetic chemicals, THMs and VOCs.
